He just happens to be the lucky one in the position to do it, at least for the moment. And as long as they don't break any of Haen's rules, as long as they remember they're not on the station, what does it matter if Lavellan's cooing over Kanesada like a lovestruck fool? Kanesada's never seemed to take offense to it.
