[Lavellan hasn't entirely lost his edge, despite living in safety and relative luxury on the station for months on end. He's also actively waiting for the two sword-spirits to arrive, so it's not a surprise when he hears Jirou's footsteps behind him.

The elf is strong, much stronger than his thin frame would suggest, but he still finds himself staggering just a bit before digging his feet in to support the weight of the beautiful (heavy) sword. Once he's reasonably convinced they aren't both going to face-plant into the sand, he reaches up to gently pat Jirou on the shoulder.]
